Your greatest adventure yet
Morgan + Connor,
You’re having your nearest and dearest out to Colorado to witness your ceremony, then celebrating with dinner at a local restaurant in town after. It’s most important to you that your day is relaxed enough for you to be actually present, that you’re surrounded by nature, and that you get to spend some truly lovely quality time with your favorite people.
This guide breaks down my approach, my thoughts on logistics, and recommended collections for your photo coverage. Take your time and sit with everything here for a bit. Once you’re ready to move forward, there’s a link at the bottom to choose your package, or you’re welcome to send me an email with any questions!

From the moment we booked Ayla, we knew we had made the best decision.
“She was so communicative from the start, ensuring every detail was planned and that we felt completely at ease throughout the process. She captured every fleeting moment and detail so beautifully that we can’t stop looking at the photos. Ayla didn't just document our day; she brought it to life in the most beautiful way possible.”

what’s included in every collection… and why
Film Photography
In the seven years I have shot film, it has never failed to fill me with wonder. Film is about slowing down, the accidental magic. I photograph your wedding on digital and a mix of 35mm, medium format, and polaroid film (or full film, if requested). What you really need to know is that you can expect between 25-40% of your final gallery to be on film.
Bespoke Location & Planning Guidance
In love with the idea of a Colorado elopement but not sure how to actually do it? You’re not alone. I’ve helped dozens of couples just like you create their dream elopements. I've spent half of my life here and hiked, camped, and driven every part of this beautiful state! You’ll receive experienced and well-researched vendor recommendations, portrait locations tailored to your vision, and guidance with any tricky parts of planning.
Inclusive Pricing
Your dream of a mountain wedding can quickly become an avalanche of nickels and dimes from Denver vendor travel fees and upsells. My business won’t be one of them. Travel, lodging, and film is included in one flat rate. It’s important to me that my pricing is all-inclusive, and that the very few add-ons you may choose are discounted as a thank you.
Quick Delivery Turnaround Times
When you chose to celebrate your marriage with an elopement rather than a big, traditional wedding, that meant sacrificing the presence of a lot of folks you know and love — aunts, uncles, cousins, high school friends, college friends, grandparents, etc. I turn around your sneak peeks in 48 hours and your final gallery delivery in one month to make sure you can share your elopement with the folks you love, even if they weren’t able to be with you on the day.
Collections and pricing
Option One –
My number one consideration when recommending a collection for you is No Rushing. No Rushing = allowing space for moments to happen organically, no stress, no even thinking about the clock, just about what's unfolding in front of you. This 6 hour collection lets us take our time with getting ready, keeps us present through your ceremony and portraits (with time to explore the really cool nature spots around us), and then gives us plenty of room to celebrate with a long, lovely, and joyous dinner in town.

Option Two –
If you want to do private vows on a morning hike together or if we need to account for travel to more epic locations that aren’t just right outside of town, 8 hours is our next best bet! We can do this consecutively, but more likely, it makes more sense to do split coverage. We can split this however works best: 4-4, 2-6, even 1-7 for a little baby hike.

Here are two examples to give you an idea of what the different coverages will look like (and feel like) on your wedding day. We truly could not have asked for a more thoughtful, talented, and kind person to capture our day.
From the first time we spoke, Ayla was so helpful and knowledgeable. It felt like every concern was resolved before we could even begin to get stressed about them. We were able to focus on just enjoying the day and she really helped us embrace the excitement & beauty in a rainy wedding day.
She made everyone feel so comfortable, both hanging with her and in front of the camera. She felt like a close friend celebrating with us more than a hired photographer. Every tiny, intimate moment was caught so beautifully, looking at them makes us feel like we are right back in that moment.

Galleries I think you’ll like
Gabby and Ryan
Gabby and Ryan had two requirements for their wedding experience: a fully private ceremony in nature, and dinner at their favorite restaurant. They got ready at an Airbnb in west Denver, then we drove up into Evergreen for their ceremony, just the two of them. After a few couples portraits, we drove back down into the city and spent the rest of the evening in a private room at their favorite restaurant with their friends and family!

Trenadee + Mason
Trenadee and Mason got ready at their hotel, then had their ceremony at Peanut Lake (a designated site through the Crested Butte Land Trust). We drove up the pass for couples portraits, then headed back into town for dinner at a local restaurant. Their priority was a relaxed reception celebration and really epic mountain portraits, so we gave ourselves extra time to drive up into the pretty parts!

My Process
-
Once you’ve reviewed this proposal and selected your package, I’ll send over a contract with payment information. $1500 is due upon signing, and the remainder will be due one month prior to your wedding day. The remainder can be lump sum or split into payments. Most of my couples choose a payment split, but let me know if you’d prefer lump sum.
-
We’ll get to work on researching spots for your ceremony + restaurant celebration. I’ll be also on standby for assistance with any necessary permits and vendor recommendations. 4 weeks out from your elopement, we’ll create a loose photo timeline and schedule of events.
-
We’ll plan when and where to do your engagement photos, have a blast taking them, and you’ll receive your gallery 2-3 weeks later!
-
It’s your wedding day! I’ll be watching out for every special moment so the two of you can enjoy the day. I deliver a preview gallery on digital and polaroid within 48 hours of your day.
-
One month after your elopement day, your photos will be ready in a beautiful gallery attached to a print shop. As a wedding gift, I tuck a print coupon into your gallery.
Need help with prints or albums? I’ll be available to walk you through print types, orders, and more.
So, what do you think??
We’ve dreamed. We’ve schemed. You’ve made it through this proposal. The only thing that’s between you and the nature wedding photos of your dreams is a bit of paperwork!
You can access your client portal and select your package here. Once the quote has been accepted, I’ll need Connor’s full name and email and I’ll send over the contract!
