Tiny weddings, big feelings

ARE YOU READY?

To give up the cost & stress of planning an extravagant event with strangers & acquaintances. To celebrate your own traditions, rather than those of an industry you don’t relate to. To embrace your wedding day with joy, intention, and oodles of quality time with your nearest & dearest, whether that’s the two of you alone on a mountain top or your family & best friends clinking glasses at your favorite restaurant.

THE TRUTH IS…

Your tiny wedding should feel like every moment of your favorite relationships distilled. The morning coffee, sharing sweaters with your siblings. The afternoon quiet, sitting next to your honey at the overlook, a rush of wind falling over the mountains. The laughter spilling down dinner tables (over stories you’ve heard a thousand times, worn soft with love) and the ease you feel with people who have known you forever.

Making it yours

Micro weddings & elopements (lovingly referred to here as β€œtiny weddings”) are usually branded as non-traditional, but is anything more traditional than spending the day doing things you love to do together?

Colorado mountain adventures straight out of National Geographic. Romantic PNW getaways at a cabin by the river. Long candlelit tables at your family’s farm in Maine. A weekend experience at an intimate desert villa in Utah or Joshua Tree. Your tiny wedding can be (and should be) anything that feels like you.

Kind Words

A 35mm film photo of a bride during her rainy autumn micro wedding in Colorado

We truly could not have asked for a more thoughtful, talented, and kind person to capture our day. From the first time we spoke, Ayla was so helpful and knowledgeable. It felt like every concern was resolved before we could even begin to get stressed about them. We were able to focus on just enjoying the day and she really helped us embrace the excitement & beauty in a rainy wedding day. She made everyone feel so comfortable, both hanging with her and in front of the camera. She felt like a close friend celebrating with us more than a hired photographer. Every tiny, intimate moment was caught so beautifully, looking at them makes us feel like we are right back in that moment.

Ayla was amazing! The process was so easy and she is such a genuine person. Ayla listened to everything we needed and wanted for our photos. My husband and I chose to only do film for our elopement and the pictures turned out beautiful. Ayla is so talented and captured our love and the day perfectly. Everything about the day felt natural and not like we were over posing. We are so thankful!
